Privacy Policy

Account information. Your email address and password (stored only as a salted hash), and — if you provide them when requesting access — your name, company, and note.

Usage information.To operate the product and understand how it’s used, we log product activity such as the searches you run (legal descriptions and party names), report downloads, and when your account was last active, along with standard technical logs (IP address, browser type) kept by our hosting providers.

Payment information. Payments are processed by Stripe. Your card details go directly to Stripe and never touch our servers; we store only your subscription status and Stripe customer reference.

We do not sell your personal information, share it with data brokers, or use it for third-party advertising. The mineral ownership data displayed in the product comes from public county and state records — it is not derived from our users’ personal information.

To provide and secure the Service, enforce plan limits, improve the product (for example, seeing which counties and features matter most), respond to support requests, and send transactional messages about your account or subscription. We don’t send marketing email unless you opt in.

We use a session cookie to keep you signed in. Choosing “Remember me” stores a longer-lived session cookie. We don’t use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.

We rely on a small set of processors to run the Service: Vercel (web hosting), Railway (data hosting), and Stripe (payments). Each receives only what it needs to perform its function.

Account and usage records are kept while your account exists and for a reasonable period afterward for backup and audit purposes. Passwords are hashed with bcrypt; access to production systems is limited to the operator. If you’d like your account and associated personal information deleted, email us and we’ll take care of it.
